A Russian Progress Cargo Spacecraft called Progress M-16M launched today, August 1st 2012 at 19:35 UTC from Baikonur on a Soyuz-U booster. The craft is filled with nearly three tonns of supplies for the International Space Station.
In a brand new approach the Progress will dock just 4 orbits later, about 6 hours, rather than the usual 34 orbits, about two days. Docking is set for August 2nd 2012 at 01:24 UTC.
